Contract Manager - Operations

A fantastic opportunity for a Contract Manager to join the UK\'s largest airport\'s procurement team. Based in Hounslow, this role is offering a salary of up to \xc2\xa355,000. The Contract Manager would be supporting the operations procurement team within the Security division.

The successful candidate will have experience with designing and managing contracts and 2-3 years\' experience within a procurement, supply chain or contracts management role.

The role responsibilities of the Contract manager:

• Placement and management of contracts including drafting and negotiating, as well as liaising with the contract and legal departments.
• Maintaining well-informed effective category plans and developing innovative strategies that will drive regulatory compliance providing a competitive edge for the business.
• Executing sourcing activity including a thorough evaluation criteria and methods which meet obligations required by competition law.
• Data analysis and reporting for supplier performance, spend and contractual compliance.

Person specification for the Contract manager:

• Proven experience of procurement and contracting models and environments using a range of reimbursement models
• Experience delivering multiple projects to meet business affordability targets and achievement of key performance indicators through strong supplier relationship management.
• Demonstrable contract and supplier management experience
• Working towards or have achieved MCPIS or equivalent professional qualification.
