The People Services Procurement Team works to ensure social care providers deliver high quality services that are cost effective and meet demand. • As Senior Procurement Category Manager you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for a large portfolio across Adults and Children Social Care services, Housing and Public Health Services, managing tenders from \xc2\xa3100,000 to \xc2\xa350 million.
• You will lead on complex procurements, making sure they are conducted in line with City Council service priorities and regulatory requirements - delivering Social Value and value for money which provides \xe2\x80\x98More for MK\xe2\x80\x99.

Ideal Candidate

• The successful candidate will be MCIPS qualified and have extensive specialist Procurement Regulations knowledge and experience in public sector/local government procurement processes, preferably in People\xe2\x80\x99s Services.
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to think and work strategically within a People structure, work at pace and have excellent communication and negotiations skills.
