The Role:
This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving Private Client Team. The team comprises of a Head of Department, Associate Solicitors and a training Legal Executive. The position will be based at their office in Nantwich with the potential for hybrid working in the future. As the successful Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a varied and engaging caseload, including Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate matters. The role involves handling technical aspects of Private client work, such as complex trusts, succession planning, and providing expertise in advising and claiming agricultural and business property relief. Working collaboratively with the support of experienced team members, this role offers opportunities for your professional development, as well as the chance to use your legal knowledge to support and mentor junior colleagues.

The Successful Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this position will ideally be STEP qualified although not essential and candidates will possess a wide-ranging experience in all areas of Probate and Trust administration, preparation of Wills, and IHT planning. This includes handling complex estates, high net worth clients, and business / farming partnerships with agricultural interests.

Applications are welcome from experienced Private Client Solicitors with 5 years+ PQE, however applications will be considered from candidates with a lower PQE level if they can demonstrate strong Private Client experience, especially in dealing with high-value estates and complex matters, as this role encompasses such work. On offer is a competitive salary relative to experience alongside 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays and hybrid working after a settling in period.
