Remit

Compass Associates are currently assisting in the search for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our clients team of staff in the Physiotherapy department at a MSK clinic in Basingstoke.

Rated as "Good" by the CQC, this clinic is part of a private healthcare group that has previously won \xe2\x80\x9cPrivate Hospital Group of the Year\xe2\x80\x9d in LaingBuisson Awards.They offer a full range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services to patients.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will need to be a fully qualified and experienced Physiotherapist with a current registration to the HCPC and CSP. The post holder will manage a complex MSK caseload and must ensure appropriate referral onto different disciplines.. Knowledge of NHS pathways is essential. They will also take an active role in supporting the implementation of national developments locally as well as supervising the band 5 clinicians.

Acupuncture would be a benefit but not essential.

Requirements

\xe2\x80\x93 Chartered Physiotherapist.
\xe2\x80\x93 Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management.
\xe2\x80\x93 At least 2 years post grad experience.
\xe2\x80\x93 At least six months MSK experience

Hours

This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday only, between 8am to 6pm. The candidate will be able to work long or short days across a four or five day week.

Location

Basingstoke

Located in close proximity to Winchester, Alton, Andover, Romsey, Southampton, Fleet, Farnham, Farnborough and Newbury.

Our client also has a service in Alton therefore if you are able to work in this location once a week this would be highly desirable.
