Role Profile



We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our in-house legal team and support the Head of Legal and Compliance with a wide range of legal work for a global business.





This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance.





This role is balanced working model between home and in our modern and centrally located UK - London office close to St Paul's, Blackfriars, and Farringdon with an excellent and a wide variety of services and transport links situated nearby. Remote working applications will also be considered.




Key Responsibilities




Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts (such as NDAs, customer/ supplier contracts, professional services agreements) autonomously Assisting in compliance matters such as completing KYC checks when onboarding customers and suppliers, data protection matters/DSARs, updating databases and escalating to the Head of Legal where necessary Assisting in setting up processes and procedures for the legal team and compliance team, for example managing contract logs, internal compliance trackers and third-party legal services Partnering and supporting a fast-paced organisation by managing multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously Working with various internal stakeholders groups on adhoc projects


What we are looking for:




Essential



At least 4 years' experience within a commercial law environment. Loves momentum and can work at pace. Able to work in high pressured situations and managing multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Work comfortably with technology. Approachable and collaborative.

Desirable



Legal degree/qualification. Experience working as part of a small and efficient team. Experience working in a data and business intelligence and/or subscriptions business. Experience working in a global business. Experience working for a PE backed business
