We are keen to speak with Senior Consultants about forthcoming opportunities to join our Award Winning Infrastructure Consultancy Business and be a key member of our Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Team.
These roles are predominantly remote but will involve travel and working on clients premises within the UK as and when required. Proven Project Manager experience in a Consultancy / Advisory role for infrastructure projects ideally within the Defence and/or Nuclear sectors will be highly advantageous for these positions.

Responsibilities
Working with clients\' management teams, the Senior Consultant will lead delivery, transformational change and control management. This position also carries responsibility for the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices to improve client Programme and Portfolio delivery performance
Whilst every client commission is different, the role will typically involve some of the following responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Programme delivery: Application of appropriate project management and project control processes, and ensuring that these are consistently applied to a high standard in delivering value to our customers
\xc2\xb7 Organisation: Implement, and maintain organisational structures (functional, matrix and project, etc.) employed by different organisations
\xc2\xb7 Vision & Business Case: Contribute to the development of an engaging Vision that can be used to drive the planning and delivery of the programme benefits
\xc2\xb7 Business Change: Provide support to the delivery of major business and change management solutions. Work with stakeholders to shape the blueprint for change including for example, definition of the future organisation structure, processes, technology and information
\xc2\xb7 Benefits Management: Provide support to Benefits reviews (identification, planning, realisation)
\xc2\xb7 Portfolio and Programme: Develop and monitor cost and schedule baselines (budgets, management reserve, undistributed budget, network schedules, and scope changes). Collect information from stakeholders, and use this data to monitor and review progress, including development of EVM data, analysis & forecasts. Assess the integrity of data, identifying gaps and potentially inaccurate data and work with stakeholders to improve the quality of data. Employ a range of analytical techniques, trend analysis, and apply complex systems concepts.
\xc2\xb7 Consultancy: Ability to operate within multi-disciplinary programme teams; managing own, and team\'s performance and delivery, ensuring consultancy work is delivered in line with the customers\' expectations and the Costain Way. Apply knowledge, tools and technical expertise to support value creation, tailoring to the specific needs of the client. Support client consultancy projects effectively, ensuring objectives, deadlines and budgets are achieved.
\xc2\xb7 Assurance and technical quality: Support programme assurance reviews on projects of varying size and complexity and in the delivery of major business and change management solutions. Ensure that you follow the requirements of Costain Consultancy Governance on every consultancy engagement, as appropriate to your role and influence.
Role Requirements
\xc2\xb7 You should have a demonstrably sound understanding of the P3M discipline. This will have been developed through at least 6+ years\' experience in the infrastructure sector.
\xc2\xb7 You must have excellent communication skills (written and oral), ability to take a wide overview of company operations and identify key issues.
\xc2\xb7 Educational qualifications to include the following (or equivalent):
\xc2\xb7 Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering or related subject
\xc2\xb7 APMP Professional / PMP Professional
\xc2\xb7 Active Security Clearance, or ability to hold Security Clearance is required
\xc2\xb7 Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
\xc2\xb7 Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
