The Securities Operations department provides custody and settlement services for clients of RBC Wealth Management in the British Isles. You will be part of the Fund Operations team which is responsible for the onward transmission of client orders to various fund managers and sub-custodians/agents and settlement of those orders.
The successful candidate will also assist with in reviewing daily control reports, confirming trade instructions with funds, managing the in-house database of fund information, and overseeing the transfer workflows relating to client instructions. They will also be responsible for ensuring client orders and queries relating to these are processed in good time.
What will you do?
Ensure that fund documentation relating to client instructions is accurately completed and submitted to fund managers within defined service level agreements.
Ensure that the digital workflow of client instructions is accurately completed within defined service level agreements.
Support the team in monitoring outstanding fund trades and chasing for settlement where required.
Assist with the fund acknowledgement process and monitor all outstanding trades ensuring we maintain defined service level agreements.
Escalate any issues arising from instructions being chased to Assistant Manager/Line Manager.
Support with AML requirements for new Fund Placements and ongoing nominee holdings.
Support team members to ensure allocated work is completed in a timely manner with high standards being maintained.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Possess good interpersonal skills to allow for a good relationship with external and internal parties.
Nice-to-have
A working knowledge of Hedge Funds and Unit Trust funds
Knowledge of Securities Operations an advantage. A good understanding of other operational areas would be beneficial, however full training will be provided.
Proficient with investigating and have good problem-solving skills to be able to resolve queries
CISI Qualifications.
