Role: Senior Officer - Temporary - Belfast
Job Overview
VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector organisation, in their search for a Senior Officer on a temporary contract. You will manage contracts, coordinate on impactful projects, ensure top-quality services, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Salary: xc2xa315.70/hour
• 37 hours per week
• Belfast City Centre office

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate, allocate, and monitor work to meet the wider business objectives.
• Assist in the assessment of risk related to funded services and strategic projects.
• Monitor and report on the strategic relevance of services funded through the programme.
• Arrange and attend meetings and visits with external stakeholders to progress objectives and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including the Funding Agreement.
• Monitor the quality and performance of funded services and projects.
• Provide information on the performance of funded services and projects against key milestones, agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Service Performance Indicators (SPIs).
• Contribute to the development and assessment of new service development proposals under the direction of senior staff
• Assist with the preparation of papers for decision-making under the direction of senior staff.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in effectively communicating with statutory and voluntary agencies, and/or in developing effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders.
• Experience in service development or business improvement, requiring strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in conducting investigations, research, or monitoring performance against agreed targets, and drafting high-standard reports outlining corrective or innovative actions.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
