Could you be our next Senior Occupational Therapist (OT)? We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and genuinely supportive team, where you can lead and support the OT process from assessment to completion, gaining job satisfaction from seeing the difference your intervention brings to children, young people and their families in Southampton.
We are a small but growing OT team within a larger NHS/Social care joint commissioned MDT for children with disabilities. There are established good links with our partner agencies within the unitary authority and NHS colleagues. You would supervise and support three OT\'s, and may also hold a varied, complex caseload of children and families, recommending minor and major adaptations, specialist equipment, completing moving & handling assessments and plans, and supporting re-housing.
Purpose: * To deliver an Occupational Therapy Service within an aligned Health and Social care team in line with Social Care statutory responsibility and, under the direction of the Team Manager, to assist with the provision of key service strands within Children and Families Service.
