RBW are proud to be partnered a highly scientific & creative writing agency. They are looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join their expanding team.

The agency is a mid-sized, independent agency who provide strategy & healthcare communications to their global client base.

They have a passion for turning complex science into an imaginative & compelling story, for their target audience.

Based in London, the agency offers both hybrid & fully remote working opportunities to suit your needs.

As the Senior Medical writer, you will work across both traditional & promotional projects. Working across a range of accounts from high science, to creative. The work is a real mix, giving you great exposure & learning development. As a SMW you will cover multiple accounts, be involved in clients calls & support on briefings. With the support of the Chief Scientific Officer, you\'ll be the main point of contact on matters of scientific content for your accounts.

The ideal candidate

\xc2\xb7 3 + years\' experience working within a medical communications agency

\xc2\xb7 Can write scientific content across a range of deliverables such as; slide decks, detail aids, website content, training programmes

\xc2\xb7 Science related degree minimum

\xc2\xb7 Able to adapt writing style to suit different audiences

\xc2\xb7 Good organisational and verbal communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work across multiple accounts and therapy areas at the same time

\xc2\xb7 Excellent attention to detail

\xc2\xb7 Enjoys working on creative programmes of work

\xc2\xb7 Able to quickly get up to speed in new therapy areas

\xc2\xb7 Can contribute to and attend new business pitches

\xc2\xb7 Able to review projects for scientific accuracy and alignment with product strategy and
client brief.

The role

\xc2\xb7 Create scientific content for a range of communication activities, both promotional and educational, as lead or support writer

\xc2\xb7 Ensure high editorial standards across all materials

\xc2\xb7 Keep up to date with developments in relevant therapy areas and the pharmaceutical industry

\xc2\xb7 Work with internal teams such as designers and artworkers to generate layout

\xc2\xb7 Provide onsite and virtual editorial support at congresses, advisory boards and standalone meetings

\xc2\xb7 Take briefs directly from clients with minimal supervision

\xc2\xb7 Act as main point of contact on matters of scientific content for the client and
external experts

\xc2\xb7 Travel to client meetings (including overseas)

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to project deadlines and budgets
