KME are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects that range from \xc2\xa35m to \xc2\xa380m. The business has a full design, construct and commissioning capability. The business has been operating for over 50 years with a track record for delivering on developing staff, repeat business and successful projects.

Kier Mechanical & Electrical are looking to recruit an Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities

This role will be focused of advising and preparation of new tenders for the business. To be responsible for producing/supporting conceptual designs in sufficient detail to enable accurate and competitive costing for Tender purposes. The role will require you to manage robust and long-term relationships with internal and external clients and teams and supply chain in line with the general strategy. You will need to assist as well as manage the production of tender documents, attend pre-tender and post tender meetings and provide data as requested and work closely with our design team.

Have extensive MEP design and build estimating experience and good technical construction knowledge across various sectors.
