The Role:



Senior Marketing Planning & Operations Lead is an integral role to the wider marketing function driving the planning, operational delivery and evaluation of the marketing plan nd its activity ensuring all actions are omni-channel and customer focused and delivers against Brand, BMD, Channels & Trade objectives.

The role owns end to end customer calendar activities and partners Ecommerce, Retail and BMD to deliver a robust trading plan with clear objectives and KPI's.

The role owns store windows and POS strategy, to support drive customer experience.

What you'll be doing:



Supports the Head of Brand & Marketing and wider business stake holders to develop and deliver a fully integrated omni-channel marketing plan that is Brand, Product & Trade focused and includes key seasonal events to deliver company objectives & KPI's, staying on brand yet fresh and distracting Ensures there is alignment of on and offline marketing, trade marketing and reactive activity to guarantee the customer experience and the interdependencies are considered across every channel Owns planning and delivery of the Marketing plan (customer calendar) activations across channels including reactive trade promotions Has full ownership of any operational activity or tasks required to ensure the customer journey is seamless across all channels through agreed marketing activations Owns Business critical path, working closely with Brand and Creative, BMD and retail to ensure end-to-end delivery of seasonal and annual marketing activity Lead and manage a multi cross functional team across all stages of the CP Stakeholder management in relation to the CP Ensures both business critical paths and budgets are met Builds and develops processes that improve ways of working and drive a collaborative approach across functions, whilst at the same time making it easy and more cost effective Leads and develops a team to deliver an efficient and consistent approach to all marketing activity and create capacity within the team to sustain long term career choices and experience Manages the annual POS and Windows strategy delivering POS solutions to support all marketing activity in the most efficient and cost-effective way whilst ensuring all elements are speaking with one consistent voice. Focuses on sustainable POS solutions Works along Brand and Creative to develop and manage Creative Display for windows and instore that deliver a point of difference against the competition & drive FF whilst managing budgets through effective sourcing Works in partnership with Senior Brand Marketing Managers to agree optimum times in the calendar and trade activations that are brand appropriate Works with customer insight, finance and the wider business to complete regular evaluations of activities to support future planning Owns the retail relationships for marketing ensuring all marketing activity is delivered at the right time and communicated effectively to our store teams for best results Works closely with the VM team to ensure visual standards and implementation are planned in line with trade marketing and appropriate VM solutions are put in place for key activity Regularly visits stores both own and competition to keep the marketing team up to date on competitor activity, new initiatives to drive FF/conversion, as well as understanding the effectiveness of our own activity Manages the follow up and review of any opportunities identified from any weekly retail and channel feedback to consistently evolve and improve our marketing activations across all channels for our customer Supports all business trade meetings and deputises for the Head of Brand Marketing in these areas when required Supports deliver seasonal briefs, through calendar planning and timing operation considerations

Who you are:



Strong interpersonal Skills - this role works alongside many functions Strong Communication Skills both written and verbal 5 years minimum experience in a similar role Experience within retail preferred with a bias to fashion Proven track record of building and evolving marketing plans informed by brand strategy, data & insight Omni-channel focussed Customer focussed Able to drive measurable results Analytical and operational focussed Forward thinking Store customer experience focussed (windows, POS, store touchpoints) Budget management

Desirable Skills/knowledge

Project management / planning Retail finance B2B/B2C experience Management of agencies Experience of working with international markets
