Main purpose:



The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for developing, managing and implementing marketing campaigns for the various activities of The Skills and Business Hub. Providing marketing support for the delivery teams for our funded programmes, as well as our wider activity and business functions, the Senior Marketing Executive will evaluate and review marketing campaigns and report to programme leads. As a member of the Senior Operations Group, and line manager to the Marketing Executive, the Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible leading on events and for driving brand awareness across our channels.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Delivery

Lead on The Skills and Business Hub's day to day marketing activity to promote its services, supported by the Marketing Executive In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and the Programme Leads, develop and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and targets Produce marketing and promotional activities to promote the services of The Skills and Business Hub Track marketing performance and return on investment: monitor and analyse campaign performance using analytical tools, provide reports and recommendations to optimise marketing efforts and achieve desired results Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, providing valuable insights to make recommendations to shape future marketing campaigns Manage The Skills and Business Hub's brand portfolio online presence, leading on digital marketing campaigns, including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per click (PPC) advertising, social media advertising and direct marketing, to drive traffic, generate leads and increase conversions Lead on the delivery of The Skills and Business Hub events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads

Managing People

Line manage the Marketing Executive, ensuring ongoing development and guiding the day to day work activity Financial/ Budget responsibilities Oversee and manage the marketing budget, working with Programme Leads to Be responsible for ensuring value for money is achieved in any expenditure committed Relationship building Communicate with target audiences and stakeholders, and build customer relationships Work with other internal teams and Programme Leads to ensure good communications and facilitate the sharing of ideas

Business Development

Develop opportunities for the business to gain funding to further our strategic aims and contribute creative and innovative ideas to drive improvement

Person Specification



Education level / Qualifications

Essential

Professional qualification in Marketing or qualification by professional experience GCSE grades A-C/ 9-4 for those with no recent work experience
Desirable

Degree or equivalent level qualifications or equivalent substantial experience

Previous Experience



Essential

Minimum of three years' experience of marketing experience with a focus on marketing and digital communications Experience in building customer relationships and cultivating ROI Proven track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns
Desirable

Experience of working collaboratively with cross functional teams and external stakeholders Experienced in line management of team members

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Essential

Proficient in standard Microsoft packages Highly developed data analysis skills Understanding of various marketing platforms (website management, MailChimp, Canva, HootSuite etc.)
Desirable

Demonstrate an ability to manage projects focussing on achieving objectives
