HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a highly ambitious merged College Group. Based in the diverse London boroughs of Harrow, Hillingdon, and Richmond upon Thames, we have five vibrant, modern campuses supporting around 16,000 learners.
In this role, you would lead the development of marketing activity which delivers high levels of engagement and supports student enrolment targets. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Marketing, you will plan and implement a range of marketing and communications activities, and contribute to the wider development of inspiring marketing campaigns and collateral for the HRUC group. Working closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Marketing Content Executive, Richmond, you will explore opportunities to continuously improve the effectiveness of the department and will also lead a team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Raising the profile of Harrow College and Uxbridge College through external marketing, communications and events
Support the implementation of effective marketing plans
Develop marketing materials and craft social media posts to promote the college's courses, curriculum, and career opportunities
Create visually exciting content for a range of digital channels
Work with the Graphic Designers and Assistant Director of Marketing on creative concepts and the provision of marketing materials for internal and external communications.
Write and edit copy, ensuring style and accuracy for various websites
To work effectively with the Marketing Content Executive, Richmond to ensure there is cohesion in the delivery of joint marketing campaigns.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate the following:
Minimum 4 years' marketing experience including leading successful marketing campaigns
Experience of event management
Excellent IT skills, including digital and social media skills
Excellent copy writing skills and ability to write for varied audiences
An ability to lead, plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to drive continuous improvement within a Marketing department
Experience of leading/supervising others
The post holder will be based primarily at Uxbridge College and must be willing and able to travel to other college sites when required.
