SENIOR MANAGER - SOCIAL MEDIA & PR (on site)

As Senior Manager for Social Media & PR, you\'ll be fundamental to digital transformation and the next phase of growth in the Joules journey. This is a newly created role and plays a key part in the approach we take for our social and content strategy.

You\'ll be accountable for producing compelling content, full of rich storytelling, to bring to life the Joules brand across organic owned and earned social channels.

Managing a team of four across influencer outreach, community engagement, content creation and planning and PR, you\'ll develop and implement social tactics and creative communications that make people hear about us, try us, fall in love with us and tell everyone about us. We have big plans, and we want to make sure the digital world knows all about them!

Due to the collaborative nature of this exciting new role, there will be a requirement to work predominantly from our beautiful head office in Market Harborough.

There will also be some weekend and evening work on occasion to support the Community and Content Officer in social activations and manage PR challenges. We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible, can get the job done and can plan ahead of time to ensure seamless publishing on the platform.

Day to day as a Senior Manager - Social Media & PR:

  • Manage the social and content team to create, curate and execute a best in class, fully integrated organic social and content strategy that resonates with our existing community and drives positive brand awareness to new customer segments
  • Develop and implement engaging social tactics and compelling creative communications to attract new customers and nurture existing ones to shop with us more frequently
  • Develop reporting and analysis across all social channels, showing actional measures against key KPIs that seek to continually optimise and test for improved engagement
  • Continually seek to drive innovation across our social channels to deepen engagement and grow brand awareness
  • Establish measures to actively grow our social community across all channels
  • Drive our influencer outreach strategy, ensuring compelling and consistent messaging across all content
  • Ensure content and organic social is viewed and managed as a through the funnel channel, tightly aligning with our brand marketing and campaigns calendar and our paid performance marketing strategy
  • Supporting our partnership, licensing and shows programme
  • Work closely with our Creative and Copy teams to ensure our brand DNA and tone of voice is consistently applied and represented across all social touchpoints
  • Respond to trading reactions as required
  • Manage the content budget and PR lines
  • Oversee PR strategy to enhance and increase brand perception and awareness with press and consumers
  • Develop and build corporate profiles as appropriate and manage corporate and consumer image
  • Define and manage key third party relationships to maximise reach

Key skills & Experience

You\'ll be an experienced social and content focused marketer, with demonstrable experience of driving digital transformation through compelling creative, innovative and integrated marketing strategies

You\'ll pride yourself on balancing creativity with commerciality

With experience of reporting on organic metrics, you\'ll have a desire to innovate and drive growth and results

Creative flair will come naturally alongside demonstrable content creation experience with a strong understanding of the importance of tone of voice and brand consistency

You\'ll have experience of managing PR discipline and Brand image and experience of managing, developing and coaching a team would be desirable

With the ability to demonstrate strong ownership, you\'ll have the organisation and communications skills needed to influence senior stakeholders across the business

Experience in using multi-platform posting and scheduling systems is essential, as is excellent IT skills across Microsoft and Adobe suites and a keen understanding of innovation channels, e.g. TikTok

You\'ll have exceptional planning and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to adapt to moving priorities

An interest in social trends current affairs will help support your experience which will ideally be from working in a similar role across a brand, agency or a publication.

As a self-starter, you\'ll see challenges as an opportunity and will strive to continually improve
