Together, we are superpowered.As the Senior Manager - Regulatory Frameworks, you will be taking up a strategic role which is part of the leadership team of our Regulation function in ET, with overall responsibility for leading our work on the evolution of the regulatory framework as it affects the electricity transmission sector. This includes both the RIIO framework and the wider regulatory framework such as the move to strategic planning following the creation of the National Energy System Operator.The location of the role is flexible, It can be based in central London or Warwick, with the option to work from home for part of the week. Travel between the London and Warwick offices will be required. This role reports to the Director of Regulation, Electricity Transmission.Key AccountabilitiesYour primary responsibility will be to take ownership for NGET's position on the regulatory framework for electricity transmission. In practice, you will be running a portfolio of regulatory projects working in partnership with the rest of the NGET business. These projects could be in specific areas where Ofgem / Government are seeking to change the existing regulatory framework to support the delivery of net zero and the Government's other energy policy objectives; or projects we have decided to initiate to influence the debate.Some of the priority projects you would be responsible for leading:
