The role:



As a

Senior Manager

, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our practice whilst delivering high-quality service to our diverse client base. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, supporting the partners of the firm, maintaining strong relationships with clients and helping to oversee our team, internal systems and workflow. We will also be looking for you to work with us to direct the strategy and development of the practice moving forward.

Key responsibilities:



Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored advice and solutions. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering proactive advice to help them achieve their financial goals. Mentor and support our team, helping them grow professionally. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and tax legislation. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities to expand our services. Manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.

Skills and experience:



ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in accountancy practices. Experience in managing a range of clients, particularly small to medium-sized businesses. A robust knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike. Experience managing and developing a team. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
