Senior Legal Counsel (Procurement)

Permanent, full-time

London, hybrid working

\xc2\xa390,000 - \xc2\xa395,000 per annum

Sellick Partnership are recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a high-level Qualified Lawyer with extensive procurement experience to join a busy and dynamic in-house legal function.

About the role:

You will join a well-known organisation as a Senior Legal Counsel with a strong focus on procurement on a permanent basis. The role is offering a competitive salary of \xc2\xa390,000 - \xc2\xa395,000 per annum, plus additional benefits listed below. You will work on a hybrid arrangement, predominantly working from home with 1 day of office attendance per week.

Responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:

• Provide legal advice on fundamental contracts including aspects of service performance, contract enforcement and negotiation
• Managing all aspects of legal risk
• Identifying, and solving strategic and operational legal issues
• Working closely with the Head of Legal on complex procurement matters

About you:

You will be a Qualified Solicitor, CILEX or Barrister with previous in-house experience, whether that be in the public or private sector. You will have expert knowledge of the procurement process and the legislation surrounding procurement. Data Protection Law & GDPR experience is also advantageous.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role will involve building strong relationships with internal clients and senior management.
