Job Description

The South Wales Business School (SWBS) which sits in the Faculty of Business and Creative Industries, is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to join the course team for the Masters in Business Administration.

This position is based at the Pontypridd Campus of the University of South Wales, with the expectation that course delivery takes place across multiple campuses.

The Senior Lecturer in Management is a key role within the Business School, and we are seeking to appoint a colleague who can add their own ideas, skills, and experience to support the development of our curriculum. You will be joining a team with a demonstrable commitment to delivering a high-quality student experience with a strong emphasis on challenge-based learning, facilitated through systematic links with the professional business community.

SWBS is home to a culturally diverse student community with high levels of student satisfaction across an innovative portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. SWBS is committed to bridging the spheres of academia and industry to ensure our graduates can compete successfully in their professional fields. Ideally, you will be an established academic with proven business/industry work experience in a leadership role, but we will also consider candidates with a strong leadership practitioner background looking to move into academia and strong, confident recently qualified leadership and management theory academics with some teaching experience looking to broaden their career.

This is a full-time permanent post.
