The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Lead Officer Inward Investment to spearhead our Invest Liverpool City Region service.In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of strategies to enhance the City Regions global competitiveness, boost investor confidence, and stimulate sustainable economic growth. Reporting to the Assistant Director Business Growth, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver inward investment initiatives that align with the Combined Authoritys Corporate Plan, the Mayors Manifesto pledges, and our ambitious Economic Opportunities Framework.About the personYou will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments and delivering results in a fast-paced setting. You will have:

• xe2x80x8d Significant experience in inward investment and/or international trade, ideally at a senior or managerial level.
• xe2x80x8d A strong understanding of economic development, capital and real estate investment, and cluster-based growth strategies.
• xe2x80x8d Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence and negotiate at board or C-suite level.
• xe2x80x8d A track record of collaboration across public and private sectors, with demonstrable success in securing funding and delivering high-impact projects.
• xe2x80x8d Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, allowing you to represent the City Region with confidence at high-profile events and in the media.
