Asset Servicing Operations & Technology department is responsible for day-to-day operational servicing of Citi Institutional Clients Group\xe2\x80\x99s (ICG) Corporate Actions processing, as well as supporting and maintaining the Technology behind it.

The Asset Servicing Technology team is responsible for defining and executing changes for the Asset Servicing Operations and Technology Organization. The team\xe2\x80\x99s remit includes:

Implementation of infrastructure and functional changes within the Asset services technology platform to support automation, process changes and control improvements.

Engaging with the operations stakeholders to define and monitor the benefits of these changes, both qualitative and quantitative.

Building the technology platform to support all products covered by Asset Servicing globally and project interactions with all internal and external stakeholders.

Asset services Technology groups develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions. Purpose of the Role

The department supports, Prime Brokerage, Firm trading desks, Stock Lending, Repo, and SWAPS for both Equity and Fixed Income.

This role will build, lead and manage this large complex global strategic technology platform for asset servicing area and will interface directly with product and O&T partners across geographies. This role will focus on establishing a strong team presence for meeting the overall delivery driven by diverse and strong talent transparency/communication and engineering excellence principles. This role will lead and manage this large complex global strategic program and will interface directly with product and O&T partners across geographies. Successful candidate will lead global team of developers, architects, QA, DevOps resources and will apply in-depth technical knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques for improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. The role will focus across our strategic initiatives & digital transformation across asset servicing strategic programs and will help to strengthen the architecture understanding, lay increased emphasis on design focus, and help strengthen the technical culture within teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage end to end delivery for technology for strategic corporate actions platform

Maintain overall governance and accountability for the schedule and the delivery from application teams

Collaborate with senior stakeholders, OPS/BA groups & development team to define strategic roadmap and establish design direction, prioritization & planning for each deliverables

Oversee functional and system architecture of Aspen, ensuring connectivity between components and validity of data flow, including upstream and downstream applications. Running design meetings across multiple applications and within components to ensure strategic implementation of business solutions.

Provide domain expertise to technology team and work with application managers & architects to drive the architectural design, definition and analysis of new functionality keeping in mind security, performance, vulnerability and overall health of the product.

Support strategic program delivery with changes to application stack where required

Identify opportunities to leverage existing functionality and architecture to build a scalable platform to support multiple businesses like Custody, Funds, Private Banking, etc. Drive innovation through by adoption of latest technology & migration to Cloud/ECS

Build a culture in technology teams to continuously develop tools/utilities/STP solutions to reduce manual touch points for business users improving operations productivity

Drive consistency across all deliverables with the objective of streamlining all business lines within components by bringing together the component owners, product owners and development teams

Manage, drive & monitor functioning of all horizontal including environment management, release management, production support & QA with focus on improving efficiency & building common tools to improve development productivity

Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to a global team of application managers, development team, QA group, prod support & environment team

Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as ensure team adheres to best practices and process Develop vision for team around roles and responsibilities, and structure team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource, and alignment to business structures

Manage and plan for YoY budget for ASPEN technology. Look for opportunities to cut budget by achieving business efficiency and automation. Maintain ratio of FTC/FTE and look for conversion opportunities of critical resources

Establish and manage technical vendor relationships. Build & agree on KPI\'s, manage vendor budget & SoW, monitor BoW & delivery progress.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

Strong technical leader experience in app development and integration with a variety of data processing and persistence technologies

Experience in building large scale platform/solution for complex business problem using latest technologies

Implementation knowledge of building cloud based containerized application

Strong understanding of Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Distributed (micro-service) Software Systems and Monolithic Architectures

Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function within relevant part of the business

Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills.

Experience of senior stakeholder management

Project management with demonstrable results in improving IT services

Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development

Experienced at Vendor management & budgeting

Good communications up to and including Senior Management level

An expert and creative problem solver and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and uncertain environment.
