My client, a well-regarded global law firm, is currently recruiting a HR Advisor to join their wider HR Business Partnering busy team on a permanent basis.

The HR Advisor will be involved with generalist and strategic duties, as well as HR projects. They will provide general support to the HR Business Partnering team; the key duties will include:

• Manage the joiner and leaver processes
• Attend ER and performance management meetings to take notes and assist with investigations and research
• Absence processes \xe2\x80\x93 including paternity leave, maternity leave, SPL, secondment, sick leave, NQ leave and other absence
• HR system entries
• Manage SRA queries and oversight of partner documentation
• Prepare monthly reporting as required
• Support the HR teams on projects and process improvement initiatives
• Main point of contact for GDPR within HR
• Absence monitor for HR department
• Organising meetings and diary management for the HRBPs and seniors within HR
• Manage general HR queries and questions

The HR Advisor will have previous generalist HR experience, preferably from a law firm environment or wider professional services. They will also have an understanding of HR systems and have supported in a busy HR team previously. The right candidate will be conscientious and personable with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. They will be confident, professional and driven. This role is ideal for a HR Assistant looking for some progression.
