Being a Knowledge Engineer at iManage Means... You are a data guru. You are responsible for researching, gathering, and representing the knowledge and information that fuel our cognitive services, as well as used in the design of our products to structure data in a meaningful way. At iManage, we are building intelligent automation, intelligent search, and meaningful information architecture into our products, and you can play a keen role in making this happen. You work in collaboration with product managers, data scientists, software developers, and other domain experts to ensure that the cognitive services we create perform effectively and that the data models we design meet the requirements of that domain and the end-users.
iM Responsible For\xe2\x80\xa6

• Helping to design and build out new data assets or data products that would be used by the world\xe2\x80\x99s biggest corporates and law firms.
• Testing operationalized knowledge models used in our products.
• Managing and monitoring the performance of models and working with stakeholders to ensure that they are performing as needed.
• Designing and managing the underlying processes for use-case definition, data acquisition and management.
• Orchestrating experiments and replicating use-cases with our own technology and data.

iM Qualified Because I have\xe2\x80\xa6

• Previously worked on designing data domain models or data experiences in software products.
• Skills in data scraping and manipulation.
• Understanding programming languages commonly used for text-based data or NLP, such as Python. Experience with the REST API is useful but can be taught.
• Experience of semantic technologies.
• Experience with text extraction, classification or phrase suggestion would be beneficial.
• Previously worked or experimented with Azure cognitive searches or equivalent.
• A good grasp of the bigger picture, but I can also pick apart data in fine detail.
• A STEM background.
• Experience in data or information tasks associated with the legal or professional services would be beneficial but not required.
• A natural curiosity and strong logical thinking in solving problems.
• A collaborative mind-set and commitment to knowledge sharing.
