Job Description
My client is an established Legal company looking for a Senior IT Technician to join their in-house team in Guildford, supporting around 50 users. You'll handle everything from deploying devices and managing Microsoft 365 to troubleshooting day-to-day issues and liaising with suppliers - all with the backing of an IT Manager and a third-party support provider for escalations.There will be opportunity to work from home on specific days.Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for IT support across the business (in person and remote)
- Deploy and configure new laptops and devices
- Administer and secure the Microsoft 365 environment (users, MFA, mail security)
- Provide remote desktop support and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues
- Monitor and maintain antivirus and endpoint protection systems
- Manage users and permissions in Azure AD and SharePoint Online
- Liaise with external suppliers for hardware/software licensing and escalated support
- Support ongoing IT improvement projects and system upgrades
is eager to learn and develop their expertise in other applications and IT support.Can adapt to changing priorities and work well in a fast-paced environment.Experience in a legal or insurance environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
