Senitor have partnered with a successful technology company based in Cheadle, which has a key focus on providing outstanding customer-service to their clients and which is experiencing successful year on year growth. They are now recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Service Desk Engineer to join their successful IT Support team and be responsible for providing excellent 1st line support to end-users and customers.
The role will be based predominantly on-site Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:30pm. The company can offer excellent benefits including 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, ongoing training / certifications and contributory pension scheme (4%).
Summary of the Role:
- Provide 1st line technical support via the Service Desk - including resolving customer issues within SLAs and managing internal escalations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take ownership of customer queries through to resolution or escalate as required.
- Install and configure PC hardware, software operating systems and networks.
- Create accounts and set up new users.
- Inventory management of software licenses.
- Set up hardware for new users.
- Previous experience in a 1st Line support or similar role.
- Windows 7 - 10
- Windows Server experience (2008 - 2019)
- Active Directory
- Office 365
- General knowledge of networking.
