The Pricing squad at Depop are on the lookout for their next iOS developer. The team is responsible for all things pricing in the app - discounts, offers, and the selling hub are just a few to name. We\xe2\x80\x99re a diverse bunch who enjoy getting stuck in across the product life cycle regardless of role, while having a laugh along the way (ask us about our jokes at standup). As a senior-level iOS engineer at Depop you\xe2\x80\x99ll add new functionality as well as improve existing features through data driven A/B testing workflow and experiments. You will be working in Swift, alongside backend and other iOS engineers, leveraging our CI pipeline with unit and integration testing built in, to iterate our native iOS application to help our millions of users to fall into the pit of success. Our small multidisciplinary product teams are supported by a much wider community of Depop iOS developers, insights teams, product managers and platform engineers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll report to an engineering manager who is a member of your delivery team - their goal is to ensure you are set for meaningful career growth, engagement, and support. We\xe2\x80\x99re open for this role to be based remotely from anywhere in the UK, or on a hybrid basis within our London HQ or Manchester office!

Qualifications

• Support the team to deliver weekly features/upgrades.
• Exercise technical leadership on the features you and your team ship to the iOS app. Take ownership in monitoring and resolving issues.
• Support the A/B testing workflow and collaborate with the insights team to ensure high quality.
• Work closely with the design, product management and backend teams to ensure that new features are implemented efficiently and effectively.
• Refactor existing code to leverage the latest developments in the iOS framework.

Requirements

• Commercial experience using Swift or Objective-C, with real exposure to different platforms and OS versions.
• Experience working within a Mobile Continuous Integration framework.
• Experience with Unit (XCTest) and Integration Testing.
• Experience in consuming a RESTful API.
• Prior experience mentoring your engineering peers.
• A product mindset; you enjoy stepping into the shoes of your customers to understand their needs, and use data to drive your decision making.
