IPS Consultant - Integrated Product Support

Location: Bristol (Hybrid) - 1 day per week in Bristol.

Salary: 55-75K

MUST be eligible for SC clearance

About the Role

Are you passionate about designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge product and support solutions across the Defence sector? As a Through Life Support Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimising support strategies throughout the entire lifecycle of Defence equipment. From concept and design to in-service support and disposal, your expertise in Through Life Support (TLS) will shape innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement integrated support solutions across Defence domains.

Analyse and develop TLS strategies to optimise capability design and sustainment.

Deliver targeted support interventions to improve system performance.

Collaborate with data analysts to drive evidence-based decision-making.

Leverage digital tools and emerging technologies to enhance support solutions.

Work cross-functionally to improve support management processes.

Manage project scope, budget, and quality to ensure client satisfaction.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting with integrity.

Support governance structures and contribute to high-level discussions.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and line management for junior consultants.

Continuously enhance internal TLS capabilities and drive performance excellence.

Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Skills

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Proven experience in Defence capability and acquisition.

Expertise in Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).

In-depth understanding of the Support Solution Envelope (SSE) and Support Solution Development Tool (SSDT).

Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams across multiple organisations.

Knowledge of Portfolio, Programme & Project Management and Strategic Asset Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 55,000.00-75,000.00 per year
