Jigsaw Fitness designs and manufactures innovative fitness equipment from our Lancashire HQ. Our customers include some of the UK's leading gym equipment brands and health club chains.

We are looking for an experienced installations engineer, who will lead a small team of installers. This person will play an important part in improving the delivery and installations experience for our customers across multiple business areas.

Please note:

this role will involve travel around the UK, and provides the opportunity to travel abroad on some projects. Overnight stays will be required as well as occasional weekend or out-of-hours work. Overtime is paid at a competitive rate. Our products are often heavy and bulky, so installations require physical fitness and manual handling.

Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

Representing the business on-site for clients of various types and sizes, from premium home clients through to new build sports/fitness facilities Delivering equipment from our warehouse to such sites around the country and, from time-to-time, internationally (recent projects have been in NYC, Miami and Dubai) Taking the lead when our team is on-site and coordinating the delivery and installation on-the-day. Carrying out dynamic risk assessments, problem solving and decision making during the course of a delivery/installation Assembly, testing and commissioning of a wide range of fitness equipment products Using anchoring bolts and wall fixings to secure equipment in place Carrying out service, maintenance and repair works on existing products in the marketplace Checking over and pre-building equipment at our warehouse ahead of installations Supporting our workshop team at HQ on larger projects when required Providing training, support and guidance for the installations team Coordinating with other departments in the company to ensure installations are conducted successfully. These departments include: Sales, Product Design, Warehousing, Assembly and Logistics.

Qualifications

UK Drivers License CSCS Green Card Manual Handling a Health and Safety Qualification Forklift license
