Job Description

We are recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to support the Corporate division across EMEA. The role provides senior HR advisory to the Corporate divisions team and works very closely with all EMEA Heads, Divisional HRBPs, HR Specialist teams and corporate partners to deliver an exceptional level of service to the business. The role will report into the Head of HR, EMEA (London-based) and the Global Head of Corporate HR, Corporate (New York-based).


As a pro-active, commercial, and results-driven HRBP, the successful candidate will deliver on the objective of working with clients to deliver an exceptional people agenda, resolve and advise on HR issues, and implement best-in-class HR practices consistent with Firm policies and aligned with the strategy of the business. The successful candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment.



The candidate will have the following responsibilities:



Work with business leaders and HR partners to lead and execute HR initiatives for Corporate regionally. Initially this will provide HRBP coverage to a headcount of 350 across Technology, Controllers, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Marketing, Internal Audit and other departments as required Work closely with department heads and managers to understand the business, its needs and provide counsel to resolve HR issues Act as an advisor to line managers on all human resources matters and provide expertise in implementing business initiatives including and not limited to performance management, employee relations, compensation practices, learning and development, DE&I, and Firm policies and procedures Partner with New York HRBP team to deliver various global initiatives providing advice, ideas and support leading to implementation of projects Partner with campus recruiting and the business to implement and execute graduate and intern recruiting initiatives and programs Work in conjunction with the lateral recruitment teams to ensure resourcing requirements are proactively understood and met in the region Partner with other HRBPs across functions and regions to foster teamwork and a positive work environment through frequent collaboration and sharing of best practices Partner with the Training & Development and DE&I teams to implement ongoing training, career development planning and implementation of employee development programs based on business needs Keep abreast of the employment regulations and practice across EMEA to ensure HR operational processes are delivered efficiently and in compliance with local regulations, enforce adherence and mitigate any potential risks Oversee and participate in HR projects which involve change of existing HR policies and processes in line with local legal and statutory requirements Management of a HR Analyst including all year-end and mid-year reviews

Key Experience & Skills



Demonstrable human resources experience with client coverage within Financial Services or similar industries, including experience consulting with senior managers in a fast-paced, demanding and rapidly changing environment. Previous work experience within a satellite region of a global firm and multiple time zones, would be highly beneficial. [KH1] [MC2] Evidential experience of working on people strategies Ability to work independently with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential Solid analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are a prerequisite Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of initiatives and drives them forward Ability to work effectively as part of a global team, demonstrate initiative and proactively contribute ideas, views and recommendations Ability to deal with pressure and manage conflicting priorities A professional and adaptable approach and the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information using discretion [KH3] Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
