Lakeside Healthcare is a large GP partnership that provides NHS care for around 170,000 patients across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire. We are made of eight GP practices across 14 sites that are part of their local communities.

We work together as practices to provide resilience, sharing learning and professional back-office support services.

About the Practice/Department/Team



Being part of the Human Resources team based at Exchange Court, Corby, the post holder will be working as part of a talented group of professionals who all have the same goal in mind...that is to provide a quality and dynamic, solutions-based offering to our internal customers across our partnership.

You will be joining the HR Team at a time of growth as we aim to deliver an enhanced offer to our wider business across all of our sites. You will work alongside your like-minded colleagues within the HR Team, who are all dedicated to delivering against our core KPIs and seeing the success of our people and in turn our patient services.

Job Introduction



Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for their next opportunity or an established Senior HR Advisor?

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will partner with specific assigned business areas in both a strategic and hands-on role to provide full cycle HR support.

As an HR Generalist, you will be confident with identifying the organisational and people priorities, adopting a responsive and solution focused approach and delivering best practice support. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor within the business.

You will partner with managers on all their people related matters, including recruitment, employee relations, culture and engagement, internal communication, organisation, performance management and talent development.

This will be an exciting position well-suited to someone who is confident with all HR disciplines and who can bring an operational and solutions focused approach. This role is critical in executing our HR initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

What you will do



You will develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across your business areas, partnering with them, providing solution focused outcomes, and supporting them with people matters.

You will complement the existing HR Team in delivering an efficient and effective value-added service to the business which includes systemised and standardised HR systems and processes for; but not limited to, providing a high-quality service including; Recruitment and Selection, Performance development, People management, Policy and Practices, Professional registration, Education, coaching, training and development, absence management, workforce health and wellbeing and payroll.

This is very much a hands-on role where you will be guiding and supporting managers with solutions and providing them with step-by-step advice as appropriate.

Provide input to team projects when and where required and work across the partnership to ensure that the key HR best practices remain coordinated and delivered in a professional and timely manner.

The post holder will work in conjunction with the HR Manager and the wider team in the delivery of the agreed HR Plan by always providing a high-quality service.

Essential Criteria



HR Advisor experience Qualified to CIPD L5 Able to think creatively and work on your own initiative Strong understanding and application of HR policy, process, and up to date employment legislation Detailed knowledge of all aspects of HR management, in particular areas of employee relations and employment law, performance management and HR projects. Team player and the willingness to support others with heavy workloads, prepared to become involved in non-core tasks Proven stake-holder management skills; able to successfully influence multiple stakeholders- and deliver a high level of service to both internal and external customers You will be experienced in a diverse range of employee relations case management, always looking at driving high performance through leaders and employees. Involvement in projects is key and you will work collaboratively across the HR Team, providing insight and reporting to drive the HR agenda within the business.
