Job Description

Our client is looking for Senior Highways Engineer to join their growing team in Stockport.

Our client has been appointed to many local authority framework contracts and have recently been awarded commissions to work a number of high profile multi-million housing development sites.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to design highways infrastructure projects for local Councils, highway authorities and private sector organisations.

Requirements of the role:
\xc2\xb7Experience working within highway design
\xc2\xb7A working knowledge of the DMRB and current design standards and codes.
\xc2\xb7Capable of operating with minimal supervision

Responsibilities of the role:
\xc2\xb7Mentoring junior staff
\xc2\xb7Preparing feasibility studies, designs, scheme drawings and calculations.
\xc2\xb7Preparing contract documents and specifications
\xc2\xb7Undertaking project management tasks for schemes
\xc2\xb7Liaising with other discipline team leaders to ensure technical integration
