Job Description
Providing support to department heads and officials.
Lead by example to the rest of the H&S team & shop floor.
Your responsibilities will be as follows
- Communication with department heads + officials in relation to new / current H&S policies, training and strategies
- Lead by example in your field, help to secure and grown the presence of H&S on site
- Maintain whilst improving the H&S management system on site in accordance to ISO 14001
- Cover coaching , training seminars, where needed / required + if needed / wanted
- Ensure risk assessments take place, with timely reviews and accuracy
- Conduct accident & incident investigations + creating corrective plans
The successful candidate will have the following
- NEBOSH GENERAL CERTIFICATE
- Environmental experience is desired
- Experience of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with the following ( ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 )
- Great communication skills
- People person, to grow and boost H&S culture you need to work with building a strong work force
- Experience in delivering / implementing H&S training
