Senior Groups and Events Sales Executive

Manhattan Loft Gardens (MLG), known as 'London Sexiest Skyscraper', is Europe's most ambitious 42-storey skyscraper featuring 248 Loft apartments, a 145-bedroom hotel, three exclusive sky gardens, a breath-taking lobby bar and restaurant, a 7th level destination restaurant, mezzanine club and 4 event rooms. MLG is located within walking distance from Stratford International Station and Westfield Shopping Centre.

The Stratford Hotel is a design hotel set within the first 6 floors of MLG. At The Stratford we do things a little differently, we value authenticity and encourage our people to bring their personality to work.

What you'll do...

Handling Groups & Events enquiries coming in with efficiency via e-mails, telephone or any walk-ins if needed within a timely manner

Following up and querying with clients for decisions and answered enquiries

Placing enquiries into the system (Opera - Sales & Catering / PMS)

Converting incoming enquiries and recognising up-selling opportunities to actively maximise revenue in all areas

Ensure Groups & Events diary is up to date

Assisting Groups & Events Sales Manager to prepare all relevant reports

Making sure the online event platforms are up to date with correct rates, imagery, capacities and relevant information

Ability to create contract and pro-forma invoice for upcoming group or event

Ability to collate information from the client for any upcoming events

Attend internal operational meetings

Previous experience in a Hotel Events & Sales role

Friendly, approachable, and with a positive attitude at all times

Passionate about offering personal and caring customer service that will make guests come back for you

Organised and proactive with a keen eye for detail
