Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and creative Senior Fundraising Officer to join our External Relations team at Nottingham Women's Centre. This is a brand-new role designed to help grow and diversify our income. It will especially have a focus on bringing in unrestricted funding to support the campaigns and communities strand of our work.

You'll develop and deliver innovative fundraising strategies, using your communication and storytelling skills to engage supporters, attract donations, and build strong, lasting relationships with funders. You will need to be confident working across different platforms and audiences, with an ability to prioritise for maximum impact.

Responsibilities



Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community partners. Use your storytelling skills to communicate impact and encourage donations Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.

Qualifications, skills and experience



Proven experience in fundraising, particularly in digital campaigns, individual giving, and/or corporate partnerships Experience in using digital platforms and tools for fundraising, including CRM systems, email marketing software such as Mailchimp, basic design tools like Canva, and social media platforms Strong communication and storytelling skills to engage donors and partners. Ability to work independently as well as across teams. Manage multiple fundraising projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly for maximum impact. Strong networking and stakeholder management skills. Understanding of evaluation methodologies to measure success of fundraising campaigns. Awareness of equality and diversity, particularly women's issues and vulnerable adults A commitment to our feminist values and ability to make a strong case for tackling gender inequalities through women-only services. Line management experience and ability to work in cross functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,751.00 per year
