What will you be doing?

Working at Tate & Lyle Sugars in our Operations Finance Team you\xe2\x80\x99ll hold specific responsibility for business partnering across our refinery and 1 other production site in Plaistow. You will report to our Plant Controlling Finance Manager, owning specific month-end and quarterly closing/reporting and develop and maintain standard product costings and bills of materials.

Daily you will be developing cross functional relationships across our 2 sites which is an ideal role for a highly analytical finance professional who is keen to learn more about our business by spending time in with our manufacturing teams. There is lots going on to grow your skills and make your mark!

Hybrid working \xe2\x80\x93 2 or 3 days a week at our Thames Refinery and regular visits to our site in Plaistow.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in a practice (Audit / Tax / Advisory) or in industry (Commercial Finance / Operational Finance / FP&A / Business Partnering) role.
• A curious mindset to champion continuous improvement and fix issues identified.
• A willingness to learn about our business, leaving your desk and spending time in a manufacturing environment.
• To be highly analytical and have an ability to draw insight from large data sets.
• To be an excellent communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Strong Excel / Power BI / Tableau skills \xe2\x80\x93 beneficial
• Experience using SAP / Anaplan \xe2\x80\x93 beneficial.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Part qualified candidates would be considered (and sponsored to complete training, subject to our standard tuition reimbursement policy)
