Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of the organisation, including recording transactions, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. A Finance Officer will typically oversee accounting systems, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial services.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing the preparation of financial reports and statements Ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulatory requirements Managing budgeting and forecasting processes Implementing and managing internal financial controls and procedures Liaising with external auditors and managing audit processes Analysing financial data and providing strategic financial planning advice Managing financial risk and ensuring the financial health of the company Management of the cash flow

Qualifications

Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a similar industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes. Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office (Excel). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting or a related field
