Our client are a luxury hospitality and catering (hotel) that are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team and monthly close. The role will involve managing a team and they are fully office based. The hotel is based in South West London (South Kensington) and they are looking for candidates with prior hotel finance experience.The successful Senior Finance Manager will:

  • Managing all finance and accounting operations for the hotel
  • Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements, and presenting management accounts/reports to the senior leadership team - CFO and General Manager
  • Managing the month-end and year-end close process - full production and review of the monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
  • Managing a team of up to 4 people
  • Liaising with the auditors and managing the audit process
  • Ability to investigate and review previous years financials and cashflows to understand reported figures
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Improve any processes and systems in the business to ensure the smooth running of the finance team
  • Ad hoc reporting
Based in the South West London (South Kensington)Luxury 5* HotelThe successful Financial Controller will:
  • Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • MUST have prior experience working as a Finance Manager within a luxury hotel company
  • Previous experience of managing a team (flexible on size)
  • MUST have strong Excel skills
  • SUN Systems experience is ideal, but not essential.
  • Great analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The client is are a 5* hotel based (approximately 200 rooms) in Central London that require a Senior Finance Manager to manage a team of 4. The successful candidate will have a Senior MA working with them on the monthly close, whilst also overseeing the rest of the finance team (1x AP, 1x AR, and a Cost Controller). The role is fully based in the office (in the hotel) and the role requires a candidate that has approximately 2-3 years in a similar role.
