Senior Finance Manager (Acquisitions)

Our client is international business services consultancy in the green energy / sustainability and renewable sector . With continued acquisitions into the businesss they require a techically strong accountant with project accounting, acquiston and post acquistion implementation experience to ultimately integrate into the parent.

You will be a finance professional to support them on this journey as the business pushes its high growth strategy. Based nr Swindon on the South West with occasional travel to London and Thames Valley hubs - 2 days per week with 3 days working from home or local office.

There are several distinct elements required to deliver this role in full.

You will be responsible for a small team providing the basics in terms of the accounting function so that there is confidence in the P&L and balance sheet with clean delivery of cash flow, budget and forecast.

The more commercially elements will be to support the financial timetable and reporting inline with the parent company before finally supporting the smooth integration of the acquired business.

Required experience:

• Strong in Excel with the ability to tidy up data
• Experience of delivering Year End
• Experience of delivering Month End
• Development of Month End process
• Development of robust financial control / process improvement

A background working within a professional services / consultancy or business advisory organisation to demonstrate work in progress and experience challenging revenue recognition would be advantageous.
