Overall Purpose of the Role

Summary of the role \xe2\x80\x93 overall role contribution to team, department and organisation

The team is responsible for marketing costs of our Studio content across Theatrical and streaming services. The Studio content is delivered by the following brand - Marvel, Lucas, Disney, Pixar, 20th Century, Searchlight, and New Regency. In addition the team is responsible for the Music business within EMEA \xe2\x80\x93 across recorded music, publishing and concerts.

The role is responsible for delivering an effective, timely and accurate AOP, Forecast, FYP and close process across and requires effective collaboration with financial and non-financial business partners, influence key budget holders around risks and opportunities, and proactively identification of opportunities for business improvement in the area of marketing.

Areas of Responsibility

Key elements and required results of the role

Delivery-

Develop and continual focus on improvement of financial models as applicable with checks and process notes for Content Marketing and cross company franchise support

Ensure effective delivery of forecasting and budgeting process to support content marketing

Analyse and interpret reports and wider business data to identify risks and opportunities for Content marketing spend

Prepare presentations to communicate clear financial messages to a non-technical audience

Use own initiative to highlight problems before they arise and propose solutions to mitigate business risk

Provide financial support to multiple budget owners across multiple geographies, ensuring all budgeting, forecasting and financial processing is delivered on time and to high quality standards

Consolidate regional view of Content Marketing throughout forecasting and planning cycle

Take responsibility for assisting line manager in planning certain forecast cycles, from calendar planning, communication of timelines and ensuring timely delivery across the team

Support on agency review process

Share knowledge effectively across the function to facilitate good financial management and support the development of others. Any other FP&A activity as required across the team

Business partnering-

Build relationships with key budget holders to provide specialist advice, guidance and support to help financial management

Work directly with business managers to provide basic financial support and reporting, advising them of trends and issues accordingly

Provide cover for Manager, deputising in their absence to provide support and guidance to business stakeholders

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

Level of experience, Qualifications and People Management experience

Degree level essential and Accounting qualification (may be part qualified) e.g. ACCA, CIMA

Experience of working within the Studios Finance sector preferable

Experience of supporting marketing analysis preferable

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
