Part of the International Finance Team headed by Ryan Carson (International CFO). The role is part of the European Finance team, more specifically the Group Finance team that supports our Enterprise Product and Technology teams.

Scope of Role:
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner \xe2\x80\x93 Product & Technology, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Technology Finance team, providing accounting, financial, analytical, and commercial support to the Finance Teams and the Product & Technology leadership teams including:

• Accounting:
  • Accurate and timely recognition of costs including supporting monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Accurate and timely recharging of enterprise costs to business unit P&Ls
  • Contributing to monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliation processes
• Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Maintain and operate financial models
  • Prepare regular and adhoc analysis to provide insight and support decision making
  • Contribute to the monthly forecasting process
  • Contribute to the annual business planning cycle (budgets)
• Business Partnering
  • Able to build strong relationships with Business Unit FBP\xe2\x80\x99s and senior Technology & Product leaders, in order to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement.

The role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant and will provide opportunity to support change at a strategic level with exposure to senior leaders within the Finance and Enterprise Technology teams

Objectives for Role:
Key objectives and deliverables this role is accountable for:

• Accounting: Ensuring management accounts are produced in a robust manner with appropriate accounting treatment applied, prepared and submitted to the Group Finance team by WD3.

• Balance Sheet: Ensuring Balance Sheet integrity is maintained throughout the year supporting with quarterly balance sheet review process, helping to identify issues and remediating as required
• Reporting: A proactive approach to reporting will be required in providing enterprise view of expenditure to aid decision making
• Business Planning/ Forecasting: Preparation of monthly financial forecasts and supporting Manheim\xe2\x80\x99s annual business planning and budget process.
• Business Partnering: Supporting Finance Business Partner in liaising with Management and Leadership team members, providing appropriate business partnering support to aid this community in managing operations and driving both operational and commercial improvements.
• Commercial Analysis: Supporting Finance Business Partner in ongoing commercial analysis (in line with the requirements of the business) to capture value, be that through identifying process improvements, revenue/cost leakage issues, and or modelling scenarios to support management in decision making

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Specific skills, knowledge and experience required to be able to successfully deliver the role:

• Strong financial acumen, with recently gained, or soon to be completed accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, and CIMA)
• Be approachable and have the confidence to build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Well organised and able to tackle tasks in a methodical way
• The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure
• Flexible attitude to achieve targets
• Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges, with ambition to progress
