JOB DESCRIPTION:

TITLE: Senior ESG Consultant

REPORT TO: ESG Director

THE ROLE

Primary role will be the generation of consulting revenues from the production of ESG

maturity assessments, due diligence reviews for Private Equity investors and annual ESG

Impact Reports. The role will also involve reviewing Net Zero baseline calculations, creating

carbon reduction plans for clients and developing climate risk strategies aligned to the TCFD

reporting framework.

Post the reporting process, clients are scored and benchmarked against a number of ESG

metrics and provided with an action plan to direct a strategy for long-term value creation.

Secondary role will be the management of a small (3-4 person) team of ESG Consultants.

Management responsibilities include training, ensuring delivery of consulting assignments on

time and on budget, mentoring and undertaking quality reviews of the ESG Consultants\'

work.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL

A passion for ESG and net zero.

At least 5 years of experience working for a business consultancy organisation with a track

record of managing successful small teams of consultants.

Experience in ESG or adjacent market domain area expertise.

The successful candidate would need to have demonstrable expertise in writing reports to

deadlines as writing reports and scoring companies is a significant part of the role

Ability to build strong trusted relationships with the client\'s board and senior management

team as a Senior ESG consultant

A university degree qualification with minimum 5 years work experience post university

DESIRABLE

Domain area expertise in ESG and net zero

Carbon calculation experience
