We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Structures Engineer to join our Highways team based in Penrith to perform and oversee simple and complex analysis, design and documentation of various structures. Location: Penrith - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent \xe2\x80\x93 flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: \xc2\xa340k - \xc2\xa345k FTE

Responsibilities

As a Senior Structures Engineer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the Highways team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be carrying out structural inspections and undertake and oversee structural assessments and assist in the overall delivery of the workload of the Structures team within the Design Services Structures office including feasibility reports and design checks.

Your day to day will include:

• Produce and oversee scheme designs, reports and documentation in accordance with specified briefs and in line with the time and budgetary allocations
• Carry out structural inspections and undertake and oversee structural assessments
• Assist in the overall delivery of the workload of the Structures team within the Penrith Design Services Structures office including feasibility reports and design checks

Who are we looking for?

This role of a Senior Structures Engineer is great for you if are a:

• Chartered Engineer
• Experience in a similar within Highways
