A well-known engineering consultancy providing design and asset management for the built environment is excited to be growing their MEP team once again with the addition of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

Job Summary
Reporting into the Associate Director, the Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be working across
a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, education, plant replacement, sustainability and more.

The role will involve design, management and supervision of projects and co-ordinating with other disciplines. Prepare specifications, reports, design drawings and budget costs to programme,as well as supervise project works on site, workmanship and testing. In addition to core design activities, there may be a requirement to support the Technical Management department with Technical Due Diligence (TDD), dilapidation, PPM and audit surveys of M&E installations within buildings and prepare written reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least five years\' experience and a suitable qualification in Electrical Building Services Engineering.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365, Amtech (Trimble), Dialux.
• A conscientious and focused outlook to your profession.
• The ability to think \'outside the box\' in solving engineering and commercial problems.
• Highly motivated with a strong aptitude to learn and develop skills.
• A positive and friendly team approach.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, Revit.
• Previous working experience and knowledge of retail, commercial, residential, healthcare and custodial sectors
