8.15am to 5.30pm Monday and Friday
51 weeks a year (the nursery is closed for one week between Christmas and New Year, all public bank holidays in England)
2 INSET training days per year.

The Position
We are looking to appoint a Senior Early Years Practitioner who is an enthusiastic, confident, committed, and passionate individual, with excellent communication & organisational skills and a 'hands-on' attitude to work tasks. The Senior Early Years Practitioner will be located within in our 9 months to 2 years group room and work directly alongside our team of qualified practitioners.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Room Leader (or the Deputy in their absence) and be responsible alongside the group practitioners for:
The day-to-day running of our 9 months-2 year group, with up to 12 children per day in attendance,
a small group of key children, as well as providing high-quality, care and education, within a stimulating environment for all children within the group,
Following our nursery policies and procedures in association with the legal requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (statutory) framework and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
Candidate Criteria
The successful candidate will have already gained experience within an early years setting and is now looking to move on from their current role and build and develop their skills and knowledge.
Essential Criteria
It is ESSENTIAL that candidates have the following qualities, skills, and knowledge:
A full and relevant qualification in Early Years Education Level 3 (or equivalent in Children's Care, Learning and Development),
A minimum of one years' experience in an early years provision, working directly with children within an age -range of between 9 months and 3 years,
Are committed to supporting the delivery of quality education and care; abiding by the nursery's policies and procedures,
Have previous experience working as part of a team,
Are passionate about supporting children's individual needs and development,
Possess strong and effective communication skills,
Are committed to building on their own skills, knowledge and development,
Be able to show compassion, patience, and care,
Have a positive, enthusiastic and committed attitude.
