Why this role matters

As the Director of the Network APIs product, you will drive the future of our Network API portfolio. You will lead and guide a team of PMs focused on enabling the world\'s mobile operators to bring network-based services to market based on Vonage\'s existing and new customers.

This role\'s primary function is to own the Network API product. You will be responsible for developing our future product strategy and participating and representing Vonage in global standards bodies and discussions with mobile operators.

What you will do

• This role will require high operational management face-to-face with other Portfolio Leaders, Product Managers, and members of Engineering across regions and direct representatives of multiple Mobile Operators.
• Provide updates to stakeholders across the company and work with these stakeholders to grow the product.
• Meet with customers to understand how they use the product, listen to their feedback, and ensure we meet their needs.
• Responsibilities cover all areas of our Network API products, including the customer dashboard experience and partner dashboard, and ensure all our existing products give the Network API Product a great CX.
• In this role, you will set the direction and strategy for our Network API portfolio and help shape the future of CPaaS globally.

• Experience rolling up your sleeves at start-ups or able to demonstrate an ambitious track record at a large corporation or in parallel to your work.

What is required for the application

• Computer Science degree or similar technical qualifications
• Minimum five years experience in a relevant sector and function
• Minimum 10 years of Product Management experience
• Previous software development experience at some point in your career (strongly preferred)

• Familiar with technical, security, regulatory challenges & standard methodologies running enterprise-scale services in the cloud globally

• Exposure to PCI DSS, GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, SOC2 requirements and processes
• Regional data management requirements and implementation
• Able to work with data in formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, etc.
• An understanding of business system integration models, SOA, and APIs
• Experience with a large volume data industry such as:

• Telecommunications / Contact Center (UCaaS, CCaaS)
• Enterprise SaaS such as CRM, Analytics, Campaign Mgt, Collaboration
• Enterprise communications esp VoIP, Messaging, and Unified Communications
• Payments, Pricing, E-commerce or micro-payments
• Music or Entertainment with large volume transactions
• Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and project management tools
