RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) is the interface between the RWE Group\'s operating companies and global wholesale markets for energy and energy-related raw materials and is a leading European energy trading house.

We as \xe2\x80\x9cCentral Services\xe2\x80\x9d Team are positioned within RWEST IT with our team members located across Essen (Germany) and Swindon (UK).

As part of our DevOps transformation journey we have different SQUADS within the team. As a central team our areas ensures different applications support, analysing systems, researches problems, maintenance, coordination, cloud native, security, governance and development of Inhouse and external application tools in energy market. We also create central templates to automate / standardise which will be used by other embedded teams. We offer our support to direct Business users and Traders to ensure smooth running of energy trading systems.

• Play an important coordinating role in requirement gathering of current security measures of both application and operating system level across different departments
• Support global maintenances, create run books, execute maintenance and coordination tasks for security patches
• Profound understanding of infrastructure designs (AWS, ADO, virtualised infrastructure, SAN etc.)
• On-going migration of our application portfolio from a shared AWS account to an AWS multi-account setup by securing infrastructures
• Present new solutions before TCAB and SIM (Service Implementation gateway checks) for any vulnerability measures
• Create emergency response plan for any security vulnerability measures
• IT Service Continuity Management, create or support business on disaster recovery descriptions, ensure service continuity for critical services
• IT Security Management (basic knowledge required) and Capacity Management
• DevOps and Cloud: Automate the building, testing and deployment of different components with Azure DevOps pipelines and migrations
• Communication management towards business stakeholders

Your powerful skills

• Basic experience in creating runbooks, coordination and maintenance
• Experience in working with any Cloud Native technologies (Preferable skills in Cloud Security and Cloud Network topics)
• Understanding of DevSecOps and Secure CI / CD for technology stacks including Docker Containers, Terraform IaC, Vulnerability Management etc.
• Design and implementation of security mechanism for AWS cloud environments including cloud-native solutions and experience with AWS KMS and AWS Security Hub
• Deep knowledge on Identity and Access Management for cloud platforms, including Privileged Access Management and Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Good experience in customer support, requirements analysis and runbook maintenance

Advantageous, but not a must

• Cloud Native environment around Azure, data factory, Multiaccount setup, Ec2 instances, Kubernetes, Containerization, docker, S3 buckets etc.
• Relevant AWS certifications in the domains Architecture and Security, e.g. SAA-C03, SAP-C01, SCS-C01
