We're looking for a Senior Developer to join our Platform Engineering team to work on our Edge product. The team are responsible for enhancing the platform to improve automation, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Their main goal is to ensure that Edge is designed, implemented, and maintained securely across all platform environments.



Tribal Edge is a cloud-based, AI-powered student information system (SIS) for educational institutions, enhancing productivity, simplifying administration, and integrating securely with third-party applications while providing continuous updates and tools for staff and students to thrive.



This is a remote role with the occasional travel required.



The Role



As a Senior Developer, your role will involve actively participating in and contributing to Tribal's Edge development process. This position carries a special responsibility for leading and successfully executing development tasks that are high-profile, highly complex, or demand an extraordinary degree of professional expertise. Your responsibilities will include:



Spearheading the design and implementation of scalable applications using .NET and Angular, while integrating Azure services to leverage cloud best practices.

Conducting code reviews cantered on optimizing .NET and Angular applications for Azure environments, ensuring efficient use of resources, cost management, and performance at scale.

Guiding team members on best practices for developing secure, robust applications with .NET and Angular, alongside automation and CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in .NET and Angular applications hosted on Azure, using tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights to resolve deployment errors and mitigate outages.

Collaborating closely with the Platform Engineering Team to ensure alignment in the utilization of Azure features, alongside .NET and Angular frameworks.

Crafting comprehensive documentation for .NET and Angular application configurations, Azure deployments, CI/CD workflows, and disaster recovery strategies leveraging Azure Backup and Site Recovery.

The Skills you'll have:

Experience writing secure code using .NET and Angular.

High degree of technical ability across multiple technologies.

Thorough understanding of appropriate design patterns.

It would be great if you had:

Experience with Entity Framework.
