Job Description
Carmichael are recruiting for an experienced ECI Senior Design Engineer, for a tier one contractor, at AWE.
You must be able to obtain security clearance
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex engineering projects, with a focus on Engineering, Construction, and Installation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to determine the viability and suitability of proposed designs.
- Develop detailed engineering plans, including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and AWE\'s internal guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Extensive experience as a Design Engineer, preferably with a strong emphasis on Engineering, Construction, and Installation.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant engineering principles, standards, and practices.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects within budget and schedule.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
