Whether you\'re talking about length, mass, time, temperature, electric current, amount or the brightness of light, the National Physical Laboratory sets the standards by which these things are all measured. We\'re striving to become more commercial. As a Senior Deliver Manager, you\'ll manage a team to ensure your portfolio of products and services delivers to expectations and that every opportunity is realised - including identifying new products and collaborations to feed into our continued growth. At NPL, we touch ordinary lives in extraordinary ways and you could too.
As an organisation, we know there are even more ways that our work can be used and developed. Working with the business, science and engineering leaders, you\'ll help put together resourcing, business and investment plans, as well as long-term strategies. You will also work with team leaders to develop new product and service ideas, taking into consideration the impact this will have on the broader organisation. Building relationships with existing customers, new customers, potential partners and collaborators will therefore also be essential. And you will also take responsibility for the performance of your team - motivating them to do better, carrying out their reviews, developing their potential and encouraging them to work together and model NPL\'s values.
We are now working in a hybrid way, with a mix of remote and office working. We strive to offer a great work life balance - if you are looking for full time, part time or flexible options, we will try to make this work where business possible. This will be dependent on the kind of role you do and part of the business you work in.
