Job Description
Senior Data Scientist/Analyst is required for a European leader in cloud implementation, application development and managed services working within the financial services, office located in the London.
Project Details:
6 Month Contract
Inside IR35
1 day a week in office
Responsibilities:
- Consume incidents from a bespoke data-related incident capture tool (DRIC)
- Mine and analyse the incident data captured through the DRIC, to identify if discrete incidents: can be linked to an existing issue.
- Are thematically linked to other incidents yet to be linked to an issue, to form a new issue.
- Should remain as discrete incidents, to be tracked against future incidents captured through the DRIC
- Enable issues to be broken down into assessment factors, including, but not limited to:
o Risk
o Cost (including opportunity cost)
o Lost productivity
o Enable assessment factors to be appropriately weighted.
o Apply appropriate value to each assessment factor for an individual issue.
Skills:
- Strong data mining, modelling, and analysis skills
- Strong experience of leveraging data to provide insights.
- Strong experience of business process analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience of institutional financial services
- Experience of investment banking environment highly desirable.
